The Dance School started way back in 2001. It is a London-based social dance school specialising in teaching social dance for any occasion.

Learning to dance is overrated. Many think it is a difficult skill to get to grips with. It isn’t. You learn the basic dance steps first and then build upon them.

It doesn’t matter if you are a single, a couple or a group of friends; you can master dancing. Be it Ballroom or Latin dances or wedding first dances, dance can bring people together like no other activity

Most of London’s dancing schools will not operate on Sundays. We will teach you as early in the morning and as late in the evening as you want us to. 

Booking dance lessons when it suits you is crucial because it helps you get the maximum out of your session.

Paul Prifti is the founder and head teacher. His real passion is helping couples with first dance lessons for their big day. He also runs team-building events involving dance.

Paul learnt to and started teaching dance in “Gene Kelly Dance Studios”. After working for various dance schools in London, he also set up Wedding Dance Workshops as a branch of The Dance School in 20011.

Laura D’Arcy, co-founder and head teacher. Laura is a top dance instructor and competitor. She loves teaching people how to dance because she loves seeing them happy and have fun.

Laura has taught dance in Australia, Cuba, Finland and England. Her favourite dance is Salsa. Where she really excels is coaching dancers, performers, and teachers.
